Scenario:

WebSkat is an advanced internet/intranet based spare parts catalog. WebSkat allows for flexible classification of products (spare parts) and allows for visualization of part on vector pictures "whole-parts". Advanced and sophisticated searching algorithm is one of the key system functionality. WebSkat allows for definition of separate catalogs with separate prices and separate product assortment for different customers.After successful login customer can see the whole catalog or only parts of the catalog defined for this particular customer needs. What is even more important seller can define specific for each customer prices. Vector based pictures "whole-parts" helps for an easy identification of search part.


Goal:

Create an advanced internet/intranet based e-catalog of spare parts. System must be flexible, scalable and allow to classify parts in many ways. System shell help its users as much as possible searching for parts and definition of different prices for different customers. There must be a "shopping cart" functionality allowing putting online orders for spare parts.
